I can’t get enough of this summer weather. If you’re in Vancouver I hope you’re enjoying the sun as much as I am! I wanted to get back into a routine of writing full outfit posts on the blog in addition to posting my daily outfit inspiration on my Instagram. Today’s outfit is inspired by the sun, which always makes me want to pull out my summer tops and dresses, and live in flip flops. Unfortunately I can’t wear flip flops to the office, but I still want to keep that summer feel in a way that I can wear to work. So, I paired this summery off-the-shoulder top with some tailored trousers and flats. To make it a little more work-appropriate, I layered over this sleeveless overcoat. Hello and welcome back to another blog post! This time I want to share my year-round shoe collection with you. I’ll start by letting you know that shoes have never really been ‘my thing’. This is why I wanted to share with you my top 5 reasons why you should simplify your wardrobe, too!
Journaling is a great way for me to keep myself on track and organized, relieve stress, and express myself. Ever since I can remember, I’ve had a certain fascination with journals and notebooks. When I was little, as soon as I got my allowance I’d head to the store to spend it on a new book of blank lined pages, waiting to be filled. I got excited every September to go shopping for school supplies and stationery (let’s be honest – I still do!) I loved the idea of expressing myself through writing and being organized.
